Now this is an event to remember. This was a lottery drawn, invitation only event. It took place at Starstruck studios in Nashville's Music Row.

Richard Marx & fans in Nashville, Oct. 11, 2000 I am the one in the turtle neck over Richard's left shoulder.

I'm going to keep this short because I brought home so many details from one wonderful night! So many, it would take FOREVER to explain.

i can't even remember the order of the songs but I'll try as best as I can remember. It was somthing like new song - old song. So here it is, the play list for the webcast:

"Hazard" had to start three times because he sang the first verse wrong. Yes, Richard can get the lyrics wrong, too. "Boy Next Door" and "One More Time" were shot twice. He flubbed the lines, not to most of our knowledge, on "Boy Next Door." And believe it or not, "One More Time" was too slow. "Baby What You Want Me To Do" will not be on the webcast tape. It was an impromptu song that Richard broke out to kill time while the tape reels for recordeding were switched out. It was a blast just recording the webcast. Not only was Richard & the band recorded, we in the audience; family, friends, and fans, were recorded, too.

These aren't the best photos in the world but photography isn't something I can afford as a hobby at the moment. Also, living the memory and the moment will always out last a photo to me. Anyways, enjoy.

After the show, we all moved from the recording area to a conference room. We just sort of hung out for at least an hour and a half afterwards, let Richard tell us stories, answer our questions and let us get his autograph and photos with him. I got two photos with him since I told him my others never seem to come out. He had the photgrapher take two shots. I also had Richard sing my "Slipping Away" single. He never saw the "Slipping Away" single cover until I showed him. He knew it was released but it seems his old record company never really told him anything. Dave Harris (of Retro Rewind) made a joke that he could get it off Napster and and Richard said a very sarcastic "Yeah, right" to him. He really doesn't like Napster.

There's so much to say but I know you all want the eye candy. I wish I had more but I don't. But I know where to find more. These are some killer photos from the show and after show that you do need to check out:
