Past Layouts

Any layout I had prior to the beginning of 1999, I sort of lost the coding for.  Let me just say this, they weren't the best they could have been but I didn't have many resources for images.

Layout #1
Layout #1

My first layout using Paint Shop Pro 5.  I still love it except for the lame name.  I can't believe I had that name up for nearly 2 years.  Very cheesy name.  Some of the content from this layout is still up.  Other content is down.  And I haven't had the heart to bring myself to put it back up or wish I never did the stuff in the first place.  This is from the era when people still loved Geocities but Geocities didn't seem to love itself.  (Remember the watermark! Eeww!)

Layout #2
Layout #2

The first new layout I made after the post Geocities-Yahoo! merger that resulting in the death of the former Geocities.  Oh well, such is life.  I was depressed because a loved one died.  What better way to display that then with black?

Layout #3
Layout #3

Still mourning but I needed to cheer up.  I liked the layout but needed something bright.  So this was the layout that came!

Layout #4
Layout #4

I didn't make this layout.  My friend, Jenni, did.  (Thank you Jenni!)  I'm went back to simple, frameless navigation in this one.

What do you do when there is nothing to do at work?  Make a layout! I made this one at work while bored on 2/14/01. Uploaded later that weekend.  Looking back now at it, I hate it.

Colors looked cool in a photo - not on my site.  Only up for a few days.  I love the tables but not the color scheme.

Uploaded September 7, 2001.  My favorite sport is baseball and I wanted a baseball theme.  Jenni made this layout, too.  The image used is derived from is a shot my sister took during the Atlanta Braves' practice for the August 11, 2001 game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Layout #11

It's layout #6!  Not quite, really.  I tweaked it a bit and added SSI to the site.

Uploaded November 10, 2003.  I really like this simple ease of the Purple People Eater layout.  This time, I used an image from Websets By Ladyoz for the logo.  I also added a background to the site, something I haven't really done since Layout #12.

Look Debut: March 12, 2006.  I have had the Flower PSP picture tube for a while.  I like the flowers and the font, but just couldn't put the 2 together until now.  Call it a "retro" look.*Laughing*  1024 × 768 optimized only.

Uploaded May 31, 2004.  If you haven't figured out by now, I am a girl.*Laughing*  However, I know I get some male visitors and they probably don't want pink flowers and lipstick.  This skin was created with them in mind.  My favorite sport is baseball and I wanted a baseball theme, again.  Based on the original past layout #10 by Jenni, it has been tweaked to work with the current HTML base.  I used it to learn more about tweaking CSS, too.  The image used is derived from is a shot my sister took during the Atlanta Braves' practice for the August 11, 2001 game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. This is my second and hoepfully final attempt at this baseball skin. 1024 × 768 optimized only.

Layout #24

Uploaded December 5, 2003.  Someone e-mailed me and told me I had a bubbly personality. Maybe I do, maybe I don't. However, that comment reminded me of a bubble picture tube I have. So, the bubble skin was born. The colors here remind me of stuff my parents would get me as a young child at Augusta's Sanrio shop of the '80s, G-Purrs. I liked the concept, just not how I did this skin. Maybe one day, it will be as I want it.

Uploaded March 28, 2004.  I wanted something bold. I think this layout and flower are bold. Image from Websets By Ladyoz. I just got tired of it. Maybe it will return. Who knows?

Layout #31
Layout #31

Uploaded April 14, 2004.  This is the second version of this particular theme. The image for this skin is from Stock Stash.  I really liked it and decided to download it and play with it.  I was at school at the time using the computers there when I liked the effect the image program they offer created with this photo.  The writing with the image is a quote from the Carole King song, "Beautiful."  I really like the lyrics used and I need to learn to keep them in mind. This was one of my earlier skins. I don't like how it looked. I finally had to retire it. I like the theme. One day, I'll fix it.
