Chad's:
| What American accent do you have? (Best version so far) Midland ("Midland" is not necessarily the same thing as "Midwest") The default, lowest-common-denominator American accent that newscasters try to imitate. Since it's a neutral accent, just because you have a Midland accent doesn't mean you're from the Midland. |

The funny thing is I have lived in Georgia for 21½ of my 28 years. It must be the military brat factor.

Onesome: Alien-- movies and paranormal horror stuff: your cup of tea? ...or did Mary Poppins just about take you to the limits on films. Not my cup of tea. If I'm into horror, I want the psychological thriller, like Real Window. But not that Blair Witch crap. That movie was horrible! I still don't understand why people spent money to see something that craptacular.
Twosome: versus-- ...related to some of last week's answers: Do you ever go to the movies versus staying at home and waiting to rent them or see them on the tube? It depends on what I want to see. Like Shrek the Third. I plan on seeing that tomorrow.
Threesome: Predator-- pricing at the theatres: how are the prices locally for you? Can you afford an evening show and popcorn? ...or is it a matinée with a bottle of water smuggled in? I prefer to go to matinées. Cheaper and less crowded.
In other news, the sky here is horrible. Some smoke from the Okefenokee Swamp/North Florida fires has been pushed into the Savannah area. It may or may not rain. I saw a few drops earlier.

My mother told me once that she thought I was happiest when I was working. Sounds weird, doesn't it? However, she's right. Yesterday, I didn't go to school to do any work on my Senior Project or my IIR project. I was miserable yesterday. The only thing I really did yesterday was spend about an hour and a half at Bonaventure Cemetery. I felt the most peace yesterday there.
Today, I woke up, threw some clothes on, grabbed my external hard drives, and went to school. I used a computer in the IT lounge to do the work I needed to do. Dr. Reed even asked me what I was doing at school. I told her I was more likely to get work done there than at home. And I did get some work done on my Senior Project. Finally, about 3:15, I got tired of being at school and decided to go home. Took me a bit to get home after running into a few of my friends and talking to them.
I even got a compliment on "my truck."
Once I got home, I started a pot of Pasta e Fagioli soup. Onion-caused tears are horrible. This is the first time I've had a bad reaction to chopped onions. Matthew had to finish the carrot julienning for me.
And only a week until I am in Seattle and Tacoma. I am looking forward to that trip. Monday is going to be a busy day for me to get together with a friend for working on my computer and packing for the trip to Washington State.
It will be worth it.
