I just checked the weather for Atlanta tomorrow night. It didn't look promising. All the forecasts I've seen show rain. I don't want tomorrow's Florida Marlins/Atlanta Braves game to be rained out. However, if it does, we have a place to stay in Atlanta. We can just do other stuff up there. I am taking my laptop. In addition to the Braves game, we're visiting the King Center. I plan on taking my Phase 10 card game up there as well. We'll have some fun. I'll have time this summer to go to another game if tomorrow's rained out. Maybe we'll go to Sunday's game. I guess it's wait and see.
Today I spent a pretty penny on myself by being some Lancôme eye cream. Let's just say it was costly! However, my father believes I should spent the money for the best. I also got the free gift they are currently promoting. It was a makeup bag with some face creams, lipstick, mascara, and eye shadow. Most of my Lancôme make up is free stuff/trial stuff. It's good stuff. I did get a $95.00 paycheck today, so that covered the face cream.
I also spent time at school working on my Ethics paper. I wrote a good chunk of it today. I really didn't want to work on it. I did everything I could to avoid working on it. If someone came into the ACM lounge, I started talking with them.
Speaking of ACM, I signed up to run for Chair. I hate that's it probably going only be for one semester, save for the fact I go straight into the CS grad program in January. However, no one else, that I know of, has signed up for it. Those that I have discussed this with think I'll make a great chair. Plus, I'll be better than the chair we had last fall. That was a disaster.
I suggested to Wes that we should have a Putt-Putt night. He said he's never been. Being that I lived in Augusta, home of the Masters, and Fayetteville, birthplace of Putt-Putt, miniature golf has been ingrained in me. I can never find anyone to go with me.
Well, I've got some laundry to finish.

Onesome: Heroes-- from the movies? Who was your hero in a movie, TV show or book when you were growing up? My heroes were She-Ra and My Little Pony.
Twosome: and-- while we're at it: any 'new' heroes in any shows or books lately?More like a heor in real life. I'll save you the story.
Threesome: Villains-- can be "bad guys" or just plain scary; which one scaried the heck out of you as a kid? (No flashbacks, please; just go for a bad guy if you'd prefer!) The Joker from Joker's Wild!

The crazy preacher from last October. I took this video today. The talk was longer than this, but I just clipped it to this part. For a guy that's against pre-marital sex, he sure does talk about it a lot. He appeared yesterday and will be here all week. It was Lindsey that told us about him yesterday in Wesley lunch. We couldn't believe he came back. I've got pictures of him in action on Flickr.
I have just been busy. I've got most of my school work for the next 2 weeks completed, but I still have that Ethics paper to write. I have almost 2 pages written. I'm not worried about it at the moment. I'll have Thursday and Friday to get a bluk of it done before my trip to Atlanta. Lindsey kidded me that she's not bringin her camera to the game because she knows I'll get a lot of pictures. ![]()
