I have been busy working on school work this week. My day yesterday, went not in class or helping my dad with remodeling our living room, was spent working on my Graphics Design Project/Senior Project. As soon as I got up thig morning, I worked on the project some more. Today, I only have Theater class. I have a test and a presentation. When I get home, I'll probably work some more on the living room. We ordered some new flooring to install on our own. Yesterday's work was spent moving furniture and removing the baseboards on a few of the walls.
From what I understand, this house had been flooded. The woman that owned the house before us had remarred after her husband died. Husband #2 was crazy. He got pissed at his wife and flooded this house in return. The repairs that previous owner did as a result were crap. In the 13 years we've lived here, my parents have been making up for the damage done by Dumbnuts. My parents have installed and removed carpeting. They have replaced all but 2 windows in this house. They have added new siding. My dad is now working on the living room floor. We want to redo our bathrooms. My dad's only fear is pricing himself out of this neighborhood. As is, our house is appraised as one of the more expensive homes in the neighborhood. We have one of the biggest yards in the neighborhood.
Okay, Thursday Threesome: time.
Onesome: Precision--ist? Just how picky are you about 'getting things done' yourself? Is "good enough" good enough? ...or do you want to get it "just perfect" every time? I'm a perfectionist that hates to fail. Why do you think I didn't go into CS? I didn't want to fail!
Twosome: Color-- preferences? What colors would you like to try for livening up the place a bit? I'd make the Zen skin default, but that's just me.
Threesome: Management?-- Hey, are you in management or are you a line employee? Students: what do you plan to be? Moms: you get a pass since you're in administration already <g>! My Senior Project adviser wants to us IT students to be management. I'm fine being a busy worker. Not as much presssure. ![]()

Yesterday was the first day back to school from Spring Break.
I was busy yesterday and today. Yesterday was spent at Wesley lunch, a counsler meeting, a meeting for students about to enter Senior Project, and a video in Ethics class. Today was spent reading Chekhov's Three Sisters and working on my group presentation for Ethics. I tried to work on my Graphics Design classwork, but they administrator respeonsible for making sure we IT students can work with Macromedia Fireworks did not install Fireworks properly for our use. Thankfully, Graphics class is not meeting Thursday, so I can take my time doing that work.

Yesterday, I bought a Wii. My sibs and I are all to join pay for it. If I don't get the money from them, it's mine.
I can understand why it's so popular. It's not just a video game system. It's a work out. It's action. It's nostalgia. It's a web interface for your TV. I also downloaded a couple of older games for the system. I got Kirby's Adventure and Donkey Kong Country. I can't play Donkey Kong Country, yet, since we don't have the controller. Kirby's Adventure can be played because you can play the Wii Remote like the NES controller as well. It's been years since I've played Kirby's Adventure. Like I was in high school.
Life will be complete nce they port Dr. Mario and Tetris to the system. You can also play the Game Cube games with the Wii, so it's many NES systems in one.
Before I got the Wii, I went back downtown to watch the ends of the St. Patrick Day's Chowdown. I did watch it on TV later. I was on national TV. It was hard to spot me, but at one point, the back of my head got a huge closeup.
My dad realized it was my head. My hand got on TV as being the last hand on the right side of the TV to high-five Sonya Thomas as she raced to the stage for the doughnut portion of the contest. When Beth got home last last night, she turned on the TiVo to watch the show. I was going to bed by this time. She said she was jealous of me! She wish she had been off from work and had known of the event. She would have loved to have gone to it. She hopes they have it here next year.
School starts back up tomorrow. I feel like a bum because I haven't done any school work. I'm not going to worry. I'll get it all done. It will be done. Why else would they give us Spring Break? ![]()
