I live a lonely life.
I'm more personable behind a keyboard than I allow myself to be in real life. It was sad going to Forsyth Park and the surround area alone. I saw many people with other people. I just have a hard time fitting in, I guess. I'm too straight laced for some. I'm too too single for others. I feel like a misfit. I only feel safe in ACM and Wesley stuff. What am I going to do when I get out of school? Scary thought. I need to get out more often.
Yes, I went back out again for some more photos. This time, I stayed around Forsyth Park and south of Liberty St. I need photos from that area. Included in today's shoot are the original building for Armstrong Atlantic, the first Girl Scout headquarters, and the Mercer House.
Scooter has been annoying me the past few days. I think he thinks I have paid him all the attention he wants. He's in front of my monitor at the moment. When I'm in bed, he's there. No matter where I am, he's there. Maybe he's still mad about Thanksgiving. He just has to wait until the afternoon of the 12th. I'll be out of school for the rest of 2006 then!
Well, I'm going to go see about getting my hair colored. It's 2 tones at the moment. I'm sick of it. I want one color. I bought the color to do it at home. I'm just not that great at home-coloring. ![]()

Nicki and I went to Laurel Grove today for pictures. Dang! It was cold!
I had a t-shirt under a sweatshirt under a jacket and I was still cold!
I uploaded some of those photos, as well as a few from our time at the Metro Coffeehouse. The coffeehouse is downtown; it's mainly a hangout for SCAD students and the party animals. We went there to meet Courtney. She's another person I know from school that knows Nicki from work. More proof of the everyone knows everyone idea in Savannah! Those girls just had plenty of fun with my camera. Courtney like my camera. I've gotten complements on it from various people.
I may not need a camera with a fast shutter speed after all.
Seems I turned off the fast shutter option on my camera! Maybe I should read that manual that came with it! Who reads manuals, anyway?
I think I'm interested in getting another filter for my camera and a mini-tripod that you sit on the desk. It's wait and see.
I also signed up for a PIXels account from the local newspaper. It's a great idea, but I found using it a little frustrating. I've got a gallery on there devoted to Savannah area pics. I prefer Flickr, but PIXels looks good for users like Nicki. I'll still put a picture here and there on there. I like showing off all that there is of Savannah.

For those that don't know, I'm 28 today. 2 years closer to 30.
I celebrated my birthday by going downtown taking plenty of photos. This Santa was taken today as part of my tour downtown. Last night, I bought a circular polarizer filter for my camera and wanted to try it out. Today's stops include City Market and the Pirate's House.
As for school, I've turned in paper 2 or 3 for Film. I only have a final for Calc to take. That will be something I have to do well on. I have an 83 in that class at the moment.
Today's the day the project for Client/Server is due. I got exempt from the final in that class.
I've got to get off my butt and start working on the final Film paper. Nicki told me that tomorrow that she would go with me to Laurel Grove. Good, even more pictures to add.
For some reason, photography's been the only thing to interest me, lately.
I don't know what else to say. So, happy birthday to me.

I forgot the Thursday Threesome:
Onesome: Christmas-- shopping: done deal? Haven't started? "Oh, man! Yeah, I need to make a list!" (I'm thinking this one may sort out by gender...)haven't started. Right now, my family doesn't care about presents.
Twosome: is-- it time to decorate yet? ...or do you still have another week or two to go? It looks as if the North Pole threw up in our living room. Things are in there, but not set up, yet.
Threesome: Coming-- or going? ...or staying home? Are you visiting or hosting this Christmas? ...or both? Not sure at the moment. ![]()

Last night I had a crazy dreamI love you Momma.
A wish was granted just for me,
It could be for anything
I didn't ask for money
Or a mansion in Malibu
I simply wished, for one more day with youOne more day
One more time
One more sunset, maybe I'd be satisfied
But then again
I know what it would do
Leave me wishing still, for one more day with youFirst thing I'd do, is pray for time to crawl
Then I'd unplug the telephone
And keep the tv off
I'd hold you every second
Say a million I love you's
That's what I'd do. With one more day with youOne more day
One more time
One more sunset, maybe I'd be satisfied
But then again
I know what it would do
Leave me wishing still, for one more day with youLeave me wishing still for one more day
Leave me wishing still for one more day

Last night, I sat down and forced myself to write the main bulk of my Film essay that's due Wednesday. I can clean it up tomorrow night and Wednesday before class. While I was on campus today, I helped my group with our Client/Server project. It's due tomorrow. We all agreed it was too much for such to little time. After class today, I worked on my Calc project that's due tomorrow. So, I just have Film class, for the most part, to worry about. I have 4 more mini-essays to write. They'll be written this weekend. Come next Monday, those essays are due. A week tomorrow is my Calc final. After that, I'm finished, for this semester! Then, 2 more to go before I'm out.
Before all my work for today, I pigged out at Wesley lunch. It was our last one of the semester. Melissa read us Jacob's Gift by Max Lucado. It was a cute little Christmas story. Also, I found out there will be about 8 of us from Armstrong that will be attending the winter Wesley Retreat.
My first year, only 3 of us went, with a 4 person joining us just for the day. Last year, (ok, this February) just Ashlee, Sheronda, Leslie, and myself went to the retreat. It's good to see more of us are going. While we're down there, I plan on going to the Fort Frederica National Monument. It's a historical area and there are quite a few places in the area that look great for photos. ![]()
