I have had a fever since Calc class on Tuesday. Haven't been to school since. I have the chills, or I'm sweating like a pig. I missed my Client/Server test. I'm miserable. That's all.

I'm not usually up this early, but I've caught some bug going around the family. I've got a fever. And when I get a fever, I have 2 stages. I have chills, where I'm cold and want to sleep. The other stage is when I'm super hot and trying to cool down. I'm in the super hot stage at the moment. I'm usually awake during this stage. Looks like I'm not going to school today. ![]()
And yes, I did vote. For sure, my father, Beth, and I voted. I don't know if Nicki or Matthew did.

First off, if you like Richard Marx, he has a new song available to listen on his MySpace account. It's called "From the Inside." Check it out. Shame I can't download it to listen to it in my car.
Today's Wesley lunch was a repeat from last semester. The sermon dealt with "Christmas Trees and Strawberry Summers", from Reaching for Rainbows by Ann Weems. We discussed the good and the bad in life.
After lunch, I went on out on 204 to find the Savannah - Ogeechee Barge Canal Museum. I didn't have the cash to stay around to take some pictures. It looks like an interesting subject. However, I did get some pamphlets and a few shots of the area seen from 204. After that little jaunt, I explored the Henderson Golf Community and then went to Keller's Flea Market. Keller's is the home of this beautiful lady.
Once I got back on campus, I decided to walk around and take some shots of the flora on campus. It's a very pretty campus. As I was shoot those flora photos, I saw Craig, who I worked with at the Writing Center. He's no longer there, as well. In fact, his dread were all gone! He hoped my photos came out nice.
In Film today, we watched Chinatown. Very interesting film. It kept reminding me of Who Framed Roger Rabbit? . I wonder if it inspired Rabbit. I don't want to spoil the movie for those that haven't seen it, but Evelyn has a secret. As she's trying to tell Jake the secret, some of my classmates didn't see what was coming. They had to be told what the secret was when she told the whole truth. Now, I want to see Rabbit again! At least Rabbit has a happy ending! I was a little pissed at Chinatown's ending.

I attended Savannah Christian's Late Church at the invitation of my friend, Leslie. It's held downtown at the Savannah Theater. It was interesting. Some of the sermon did not agree with my beliefs, but for the most part, it was an enjoyable sermon. I was impressed that the church required marriage counseling prior to being married in the church. The preacher mentioned that during his sermon. The set up of the service is very similar to Ekklesia and the worship we do at Wesley Retreats and the United Methodist Student Movement I attended in Michigan.
Its theme was Making a Courageous Commitment, based on Joshua 24:14. It divided people into 3 groups: People committed to church, people that know about church, and people that are careless about the church. Under all that was said, I would probably be a person that know about the church. The preacher said don't get comfortable in the chair, but I am. I know I'm not going to be a saint. And I don't feel comfortable preaching the bible, like rabid Preacher Man from last month. I don't feel it's my place to tell others what to believe. I'm more of a person that tries to do works instead of preaching.
I don't know if I'll attend on a regular basis. I don't mind the songs, except when I want to sing, but when I sing, I yawn. Still haven't figured that out. I guess that's why I enjoy Welsey each Monday. The sermon is something powerful, and I don't feel guilt. I feel the most enlightened after a Wesley event. However, I wasn't too uncomfortable at Late Church, I might attend it again. It just depends.
I saw one of my high school classmates at Late Church. It was the second time this week I ran into her. I saw her at Wal-Mart the other day. I asked her what was going on at Wal-Mart with the private school having 3 buses of kids there. She happens to work at the private school. We spoke briefly as she was leaving and I was taking a picture of the Savannah Theater. She said the students were they doing their shopping for the school's Christmas Angel gift program. Quite interesting. She doesn't haven't any kids, either. She's busy helping kids. It been a life saver meeting and coming across some of my old high school classmates that don't have any kids and are just having fun in life. Makes me feel better about the person I am.
This past weekend, I have been working on my Client/Server homework. it's still not complete, but I'm learning things from it. That's the most important part of it all, I guess.
