Dreams & Bankruptcy
February 28, 2002

WSAV has an article about bankruptcy that got me going this morning. I spent 25 minutes writing them a letter about omissions from the article. They spoke to a rival lawyer but I felt that the information the omitted was just as important. My boss and G agreed. My boss didn't get too upset at the fact I was writing a letter alerting WSAV of the omssions.

That's one thing I will say. As much as I whine about some of the people in the office, we get our jobs completed on time and know what we are doing. Besides, I think most of the chaos in this office is based on the fact we're all females in this office.

Now to the dreams part of the post. I had some wacky storylines in my dreams. Some of the things I remember in this dream: our black and white cat Lucky; Spring Lake, NC; Barry Zito of the Oakland A's; pageant crowns; Mexico; A secret military camp called Camp Jenkins; Joey of *NSYNC; my mother's friend Alice; a chinook; my car; a black truck; my father's truck; a basketball; and our gray and white cat Christopher; Nicki and me on "Survivor;" and my best friend from 1st grade, Dana Roggie.

For some reason, "Survivor" was being filmed on Dana's property. Nicki really wanted to win "Survivor" and I didn't want to be there. So I got myself booted and spent the rest of the time catching up with Dana, who I haven't seen since 2nd grade. I was also being hounded by the news for being the first person being kicked off the island.

Then, I ended up at home. Alice had called asking me to come out to Tybee for Halloween. It's February and I'm dreaming about Halloween? Did I sniff some Pikachu hair last night? Chinooks kept flying over our home full of some kid soldiers and their friends. A basketball fell from the chinook and onto my father's truck. As I was on the phone with Alice, I had to check on the truck, Christopher darted out of the house. Then a parade of drunk soldiers and their friends came down my house and in the parade, was Joey Fatone! I started chewing his bum out about my father's vehicle.

Next, I was in the back seat of our old Ford Taurus. We were in Spring Lake, NC. I was holding a yellow sash and a pageant crown. This is where Barry Zito came in. He was on the other side of the car, doing what I was. We got in a fight with the person in the middle that was stepping on his sash he was to hold. I was upset about the stepping on it. Barry told me to leave the guy alone. Then we were driving next to this Camp Jenkins. My mother was driving and didn't like what she saw. She told us all to look away.

In a blink of the eye, I was in Mexico with Lucky, some of the characters from the previous sequences and some foster children looking for a home. We were trying to get out of Mexico and get back home. The only way back to the States for us was this rope bridge. I was holding poor Lucky. One of the children went ahead of me and the bridge broke. I didn't want to lose Lucky. She was scared as is. I was able to hand Lucky to the other child and get myself across when I woke up.

Dream are just so odd. I wonder what each thing in my dream meant. Some things I haven't thought of in forever and other things I just happened to see pictures of last night. But why were they there?

And I wonder why I can't think some days?

LoL!! Dreams sure can be hilarious sometimes!! It's like they take everything in your life that you've been thinking about.... and some that you haven't, and they just throw it all together!! I'm a little disappointed, because I haven't been able to remember many of my dreams for the past couple of days. Normally I can, and I actually enjoy it. But lately I haven't been able to retrieve any of them when I wake up. Well, except for the ones about this video game I've been playing. Hmmm... maybe video games are dream stealers? *ponders* Well, anyway.... I'm done with that game for now so.... maybe I'll be able to remember my dreams again!!

My family and I are going to my grandparent's house tonight after my dad gets off work.... so I'll probably have lots of posts to reply to when I get back, since they don't have the Internet!! ;) Hehe!! It should be pretty fun though. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this weekend, cuz I get to go watch a guy I like play basketball. Hopefully something will (finally) happen... I've liked this guy for almost 3 years!! Maybe he'll propose?? LOL!! Just kidding!! It'd be nice though. *grins* Anyway. I guess I'll be going for now!

Oh... one more thing. Just be glad that you don't have featherless chickens run through your dreams. That happens to me quite often. I'll be having this totally serious, good dream about some guy liking me or me being a famous singer..... and then all of a sudden naked chickens (as I have affectionately dubbed them) go running through my dream!! *sigh* Isn't anything sacred anymore?! LOL!! Well.... better go for real now.... I have to pack for tonight!! Have a good weekend, and take care of yourself, Shawn!!

Naked Chickens! LOL Cracking me up. Good luck with the guy. Maybe not a marriage proposal but at least a date. ;-)

I've had Super Mario Bros. in my dream, once. I dreamt I jumped over the flag pole and was sent to a secret area to find the scent of Israel. And the smell was black eyes peas! My dreams are wack. I think someone in the building was cooking black eye peas that night. And this dream was well over 10 years ago.

It's not like I chose Joey to be in my dream - it just happened, Tamm. Don't blame me - blame the Grammys!
