"I live for those who love me,
Whose hearts are kind and true,
For the human ties
that bind me
For the task by God
assigned me,
For the bright hopes
left behind me,
And the good
that I can do." – George L. Banks
This was on a calendar V has in her office. I liked what it said.
I'll write more when I have a chance.

I really liked that quote, I'm glad you put it on here so others can read it!! I feel like that's what I've been doing lately. Living for those that DO love me, and for whatever purpose God has for me being here.
It's not always easy, but it does keep me going. *sigh*
I know you're into baseball.... which I do like, I just don't keep up with it much. I'm a basketball girl myself.
I'm upset with my team (the Indiana Pacers).... or rather I should say I'm upset with the management. They traded two of my favorite players. Travis Best and Jalen Rose. I seriously cried when I heard about it. I mean, that's like shipping my family off to another state!! GRRR. It doesn't help that I don't really care for the players that we are getting in return. *sigh* Oh well.... my dad says it's just a business.... but it's hard when you feel like the players are family. :-(
Anyway. I best be moving along now.... busy day tomorrow. I'm puttin' in an application at good ol' Wal-Mart. LoL!! Not exactly my first job choice, but I just want a job right now!! Ta-ta, for now!!
I know about the sports star trading. Ok, so Brian Jordan isn't a member of my family but it did hurt to see him traded, even if it was for the improvement of the team.
Yeah, I'm trying to live for those that do love me.
And good luck with the job! Nicki fears she may not get the job she applied for, even if she's qualified for it.
