So, I had another Logan dream last night. Lately, all of my dreams have been weird. I hate having Logan dreams, but they are easy to interpret now. This dream was sort of in the "Same Old Lang Syne" spirit. We were catching up on old times. He was telling me about starting a family with his true love. Me, I had nothing to report. And that was the real interpretation of the dream. My subconscious and lately, my conscious mind, have been pouring over the fact that I'm still single at 30. At the moment, there doesn't look like a prospect of a family for me on the horizon.
This past weekend, my sisters came to visit me. Our original plans were of us going out to Stone Mountain, but the weather was too poor. So, Saturday, I took them all over creation. We went to the The World of Coca-Cola, again. This time, I got all of us annual passes. With them, well worth it. So, we spent some time there, just looking around. While there, they had a sample of the WoCC exclusive: Chocolate Mint Coke. It wasn't that great. Yes, I tried it.
After that visit, we headed on to The Varsity for lunch. Beth had gone once in 8th grade, but Nicki and I had never been. We wanted to try it. In fact, had my sisters not gotten lost on the way to my apartment the night before, I was hoping we could go there for dinner. However, Nicki said just save it for lunch the next day. It was okay food. It was a little too greasy for our liking. Next time I go, I'll get the onion rings over the fries.
Once we finished with lunch, Beth decided to go see the Murder Kroger. She heard a song about it and decided since we were in proximity, she needed to see it. After that, I took my sisters down to Fayette County. Beth has this thing about visiting all these different Best Buy stores. So off to the Fayetteville one I've been to a dew times and the Peachtree City one Beth really wanted to see. While at the PTC one, my sisters couldn't believe the Geek Squad golf cart. Each had their pictures taken on it.
On the way back home, I stopped at Mary Ellen and Harold's home and introduced them to my sisters. They seemed to like my sisters. My sisters really liked them. Beth had a question most of us wish we could answer. If Mary Ellen and Harold are so nice, then what happened with Joey? My sisters never cared for Joey. My sisters also met the Twins and fell in love with them. I gave the Twins their Christmas gifts. They liked them. When I said it was time for us to leave and go get dinner, Girl Twin didn't want us to leave. She wanted us to bring our dinner back to the house. I would have loved to, but my sisters and I needed to get back to my place.
Yesterday, Beth and I spent time together while Nicki chose to stay at the apartment and play on her computer. We went back to the WoCC to see things we didn't get to see while with Nicki. The funniest thing was when I posed with Polar Bear. Beth wouldn't because she hates costumed critters. Always has. The lady taking the pictures told Polar Bear Beth wouldn't pose, so Polar Bear got up and approached her. She freaked out! It was a funny sight and had many people laughing.
While downtown, we also toured Centennial Olympic Park. We enjoyed the Fountain of Rings. We stopped in the CNN Center to look around for a bit, to, prior to coming back to my place. We had a great afternoon before my sisters left to return home.
And now another work week to survive!
