I got a text message today from Melinda. I met her via Joey and have hung out with her a few times when with Joey. She told me the first time I said goodbye to her that she was glad to meet me. Well, she heard from Joey that I am moving to Atlanta, so she messaged me to see how I was doing. We ended up going to lunch and talking. It was great to see her. I told her she is welcomed to see me any time she comes to Atlanta.

While we were out, a thunderstorm blew into town. We got quite a view of lightning bolts and saw some thick clouds. We could also see the sheets of rain come down. After I said goodbye to Melinda, I went home. Truman and DeRenne was blocked off on DeRenne east bound by a cop and a fire truck. I couldn't get home, so I had to turn around and take the long way home. I didn't get to see what happened. I think a power line broke. At least there was power when I got home.
