Today, I visited Joey's Uncle Bob. Bob is a very supportive man. He has been supportive to Joey in his quest for a college degree, yet at the same time made Joey work for that degree. I have gotten to know Bob from being at his house and having many dinners. Bob has given me advice with problems in my life. I went and visited him to let him know I got a job and that I will be moving to Atlanta. His support for me has not gone unnoticed.
I also stopped at Petsmart and got Scooter a new collar. He lost the Scooter Alert System as we called his collar. The little bell on the collar is helpful for the other cats to let them know Scooter is on the way. Scooter can be a mean SOB to the other cats and the bell allows them to prepare for Scooter's company. His collar is a green, which is a great color for a redhead like he is. I also went ahead and got Graysie one. I want her to have one and got her the perfect color for her - purple. So far, she's hating it. I think it's the bell. She's never had to wear one before, but I want her to have one as identification. She's just going to have to get used to it.
Finally, for the day, theThursday Threesome:
Onesome: So-- what if everyone else does it?!? I'm different and I'm going to do it my way! Heh, what is that for you? ...the peanut butter and banana sandwich? ...tie-dyed seat covers for the car? ...or maybe an unusual sport? The loving Richard Marx at age 14 when he wasn't cool any more.
All the kids my age thought I was nuts. I think in some ways, the adults did, too. I had the last laugh. I still love his music to his day. And I have a massive Richard Marx collection. I admit I'm not as passionate as I was when I was 14 and 18 years-old, but if I had the money and opportunity to go see him live, I would go for it. Thankfully, I know I don't have to meet him anymore. Not that I wouldn't want to. I would like to have one more picture taken with him, this time, with my contacts.
Twosome: Ya'll-- gonna' be catchin' any big ol' trout this year? ...any fishing people out there on the porch? Hey, even watching on TV counts for something... I don't fish. Fishing is a sore subject with me. I may have mentioned it once or twice as to why it's a sore subject.
Threesome: "like Music--, like friends": we all have different varieties we listen to from time to time. How about an update on your musical tastes? Go for it! Beside afore mentioned Richard Marx (who has a new duet-like album available exclusively on his web site), my taste has broadened over the years. This past year, I got into Chicago and Peter Cetera. I've opened up to more country music. When I get a song on iTunes, it's usually an older song. And at the moment, I am in love with "Little Wonders" by Rob Thomas. The sentiment of the song is something I need to take to heart.

all three of our felines have collars - though I took the bells off. They all have name tags, too - I think from pettags.com. G has a mouse, E has a fire hydrant, and V has a dog bone.
Orangeness (as we call Voodoo) has a maroon collar - he's very Hokie-fied.
