Oh, because I told someone I'd be here after I finished some work with my father. I'm at Armstrong at the moment for the third time today. The first time was to pick up a transcript and talk to Lindsey. The second time was to drop Joey off at the Writing Center. The third time, which is now, is so I could help Joey study. But, I can't find him.
This week has been a bad week for both of us, and it's my fault. Yes, it's my fault. Why he is my friend, I don't know. Tuesday tested our friendship. We got in a fight. And not a silly fight, either. This was one where we were both cussing, yelling, and turning red. He was just trying to help me get past an irrational side of me. The fight carried over to me fighting with my father later that night. Both guys had the same point of view and neither one could get through to me. It carried over a bit to yesterday. And again, both men got it from me. But, I know in the end, they both just want the best for me. I am the one with the problem, not them. At times, I think it would be easier for them if they didn't fight for me.
Yesterday afternoon, I did get a break by going along with my father and brother to Brunswick, GA. My brother is going to move down there. Jessica's getting a job there, too. We took scenic drive down there, plus took a tour of the apartment that they are trying to get. We also drove over to St. Simons so Matthew could see that it didn't cost a thing to get on the island. Only Jekyll does it cost and that's because the entire island is a state park. I had my camera on me, just in case, so I got a few shots of the lighthouse at the end of the day.
Today, I picked myself up and made a call for some help. I promised Joey I'd work on getting some Tuesday night. My father also wants me to get some help. I have something arranged, too. I also came to this side of town to pick up a transcript so I can scan and add it to a job application. I promised Joey I'd work on applying for a job today. I haven't finished that, but I had other things to do. I did the main thing and got the transcript. Joey's mother, Mary Ellen, call me as well. It was a short call, but something I needed.
Hopefully, tomorrow, will be better as well. Saturday is graduation for Joey, so I will be busy with that. Now for the
Thursday Threesome The Magic Month of May:
Onesome: The magic-- of Spring? Has it started yet where you are? ...or if you're 'down under', how is Autumn progressing? It's been hot today and yesterday. I think summer is beginning now that it's May.
Twosome: month of-- transition? Are you looking to be out of school? ...to have the kids out of school? No? Heh. How about just thinking about where you want to go this Summer? ...maybe within walking distance, -no? I've been out of school for a few months. I just want a job. However, I know Joey must be excited. He graduates Saturday, with his last exams on Tuesday. Then, a week from now, he's moving back to Atlanta. I really don't want him to go. And I really don't want to stay in Savannah, either. It's not that I want to be around him, but I want a chance to go live. We both agree Atlanta's what I need.
Threesome: May-- I ask you if you know which song the title for today's piece was taken from? I'm thinking Laanba has a chance at it, but any fan of Dumbledore's original actor might know it... Sorry, sure don't. Not a Harry Potter fan.
