My weekend was a simple weekend. I stayed home and had some me time. Friday was spent with Joey and I got home late. It was a frustrating night for both of us. So, my Saturday was spent watching Atlanta Braves baseball and Two of a Kind. For those that don't know the movie Two of a Kind, it's a movie with John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John that I watched as a 5-year-old when my family lived on Ft. Gordon. It's been about 24 years since I've seen it. It's perfect '80s cheese. Sunday was another day to take easily. I ended up watching the NASCAR race with my father. We were both not happy with how it ended under a yellow flag.
Today, I went out to breakfast with Joey. It was a late breakfast, but his idea And while I was on that side of town, I went and visited Lindsey and everyone else at Wesley Foundation. It was the last lunch of the semester. I was glad to see them. After Wesley lunch, I sat around at the library about about an hour and a half. Joey had mentioned when we ate that he was going to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy this afternoon and that I was welcomed to watch it with him. So, before we went to his house to watch the movie, he and I helped Tammy, his tutee I had helped before, who had asked for math help. We helped her, with mainly him taking care of it. He's a natural at math. After about 45 minutes of work, we left the campus.
The movie was a cute little movie. The only thing I knew about it was the answer to life, the universe, and everything is 42, but other than that, I knew jack squat. I laughed at several parts of the film and didn't get too lost watching it. I don't know, but I just didn't find it as humorous and wonderful as guys do.
