I'm going to a Christmas party on the 7th. That's my birthday. I told my family we'll celebrate my birthday after my graduation ceremony. So, when I walked into Wesley Foundation today and saw there was going to be a party on the 7th, I joked about how honored I was to be give a birthday party. Melissa made a note of it. One of the guys I can't stand said it was his birthday as well, and he's going to be there.
I have tried to like this guy, but I just can't. Well, I won't let it affect me too much. We're going to have a small gift exchange that night as well. It may not be a romantic dinner, but it's not staying at home, alone, either. Yes, I said romantic dinner. I have never had a romantic dinner on my birthday. I would love to have one. Well, wish in one hand and…. I know I'm not getting one this year, but I still dream. You never know what can happen between today and my birthday.
Well, it's going to have to wait for next year.
Today's Wesley lunch was about Thanksgiving. The passage was Psalm 100. After Melissa read the passage, she asked us to remark about things we're thankful for. Patrick and his friends remarked that they were thankful that none of them loss a tooth the last time they all went on a paint ball adventure. Patrick started laughing and just couldn't stop. The way he kept going on and on got us all onto this big laughing fit. A few of us remarked we were thankful that we could even have that laughing fit. I am going to miss them all when I'm gone.
My digital photography assignment due today stressed me out. I kept printing and printing pictures and none would come out. Finally, I uploaded them the Worldwide Camera and had them print them. I'm glad I did. They got the color to look nice. Lindsey's hair was not flaming red. We got the grades back on some prior assignments. I got zinged 5 points for my environmental portraiture assignment because I didn't show enough background.
I told him why I couldn't have more background in the photo. I'm just thankful he finally gave some feedback on a photo. I worked on one of the next assignments in class. It's a colorization project. I also have a motivational poster to design.
I only have one class tomorrow. The E-Commerce project was extended a week this morning. I am thankful for that. Class was also canceled for tomorrow. That gets a lot of stress off of me. I was going to have to finish the E-Commerce project when I wasn't busy taking Joey to the airport and getting home to celebrate Beth's 20th birthday. Since that's been postponed, it's something I can take the time to work on in the break. I don't have to rush from the airport. I fear the traffic. And I can have fun celebrating my sister's birthday. It won't be much, but it will be something.
