Onesome: World--Wide Web resources? Is there one particular area of your life, personal or professional, where you use the web as an informational resource? Knitting? Medical? Research? As an IT major, plenty of things rely on my knowing how to use the web to research information. I was the original author of Module C7 for my school's Integrating Information Retrieval into Undergraduate Curricula project. The professor has changed many of the things in it since I did the original work, since I don't have time to work on it now, but I did work on it.
Twosome: of-- the 168 hours in a given week, how much time do you spend on the computer? No, we're not looking to plan an intervention, just curious... Again, as an IT major, I spend too many to count on the computer. And it seems I always have to have a computer or a way to check my e-mail! When I went rafting last month, I took my computer to upload my photos onto it and surf the Internet once we got to the Georgia Tech Wesley home. And on the ropes course this past weekend, used my phone to check the game scores and my e-mail. At least I don't have a Crackberry.
Threesome :Warcraft-- games? Poker games? Role playing games? Do you play games on your computer? Really? What kind of games? Let me just state that I HATE World of Warcraft. It has caused many fights between Nicki and the rest of the family in this house. Mainly, like we're evil for needing her to do something while she plays the game. Oh, and you haven't heard her complain when the Internet connection goes down here at the house! It's our fault when Comcast has a problem. As for my gaming, it keep it to simple puzzle games on Yahoo! Games like Bejeweled and Pop and Drop. However, it sucks that Pop and Drop won't word on Vista.
