I'm actually having a life now.

Friday night was spent with Joey at a bar. Now for those that know me, I don't do bars. However, he asked that I come hang out, so I did. It was a karaoke bar. I wasn't too comfortable there. I only felt in my skin when I focused on the baseball game that was airing on the TV there. Joey was drunk by the time I left him at midnight. I figured he was okay at the new bar I dropped him off at. Bars just aren't my thing. He asked me today how did I feel there. I guess before he got loaded, he could tell I wasn't comfortable.

Saturday afternoon was spent at Tybee just playing with my camera. I got excellent photos on my shutter setting photography assignment. I'm having trouble with my aperture assignment. I showed the professor what I attempted, knowing they weren't going to do for the assignment. He said he liked the effect I was going for. I'll publicize them on Flickr as soon as I turn in the assignment.

Sunday was spent watching my Titans lose. But, they didn't go down without a fight!

This morning was golf class. The professor has us do some drills with the wedge. After drills, he had Derrick take me onto the links and work on holes 10 and 9 on the course. Derrick was vey helpful. It was fun to actually get on the course and not practice on the range. Derrick said I did well for a beginner. I spent some time myself after classes were over to work with the wedge in rough conditions.

Wesley lunch was interesting. Jessie wasn't there. I missed her. Melissa read us The Old Turtle. It's a once a year thing, so if you miss it, you miss it. This book is her gift to parting seniors, so I get a copy in December!

This weekend, I will be out of town. The Wesley Foundation is going back to Atlanta to make up our Braves game. We're also going white water rafting. I'm going to have to get gear for that. Today, I also signed up for the ropes course we're doing next month, as well as next month's dinner. Looks like ACM won't have me for on day next month. Oh well. Dinner with my friends or a gory movie with the others. Dinner over gore any day!
