/* Going Crazy */

I did more work for the AASU ACM chapter today. I worked a bit more on the management interface for Jack, our Membership Committee Chair. I am so taking credit for what I have done for my Senior Project. I am borrowing heavily from it for this ACM project. I also met with Chris, our advisor, to work on server space issues. And I just now posted the meeting minutes from Tuesday, since Joey's out of town until school starts again. Can't fault the guy for not being here; he's got a perfectly understandable reason. I have stopped the ACM stuff for the night. I'll continue on the interface tomorrow. When it's finished, I am showing it to Dr. Lau, as well.

Anything else? Well, my car has cruise control. I was wondering why in the world my standard transmission needs it, but let me say I feel a difference in using it compared to an automatic car. I could never feel cruise control being on in my Malibu. Yet, on the Focus, I know it's on. I don't have to switch gears on the open road, like a freeway, when it's on. I like it. And yes, I never did use cruise control in my Malibu.

I also got my books for this last undergraduate semester. I spent $92.00 on a used meteorology book! The only other book I needed is golf book, which I got for about $9.50, including shipping, on Amazon.com. I had no choice but to get the meteorology book at school. It looks more and more like I will attend school next semester. I figured it wouldn't hurt to attempt one semester of graduate school. I will need to talk to my Data Comm professor about it. She's not in charge of the CS graduate program at school, but she knows the head very well. Personally, I want to get out school and get a job ASAP, because I'm tired of my home life, but pursuing a Master's degree is just as beneficial. I joked with Lindsey today that I wish I were married! I am so craving my own place, along with the other benefits of marriage.

Gennie and I are still working on our meetup for Savannah Bloggers. We each hope to post the information as soon as we finalize details. We even have a few Flickr members interested in it.

And now, Thursday Threesome:

Onesome: Writing-- on the web: Do you consider yourself a writer, in that you provide a narrative of some sort? ...or a responder, wherein you primarily work the meme circuit? I'm more of a writer that reflects on her life. This meme is about the only meme I do regularly now.

Twosome: your-- place: did you do your own design? ...or did you pick out something from the established templates? I hacked and patched this design together. It really needs to be worked on, but I don't have the energy after IT classes and the like.

Threesome: Blog-- this! What's your favorite type of thing to run across that you just can't wait to get to the computer to post? Photos count, but for the photobloggers (like Laurie and me), what is it that you just know you won't be able to hold on to for even a day? Lately, it's a reflection of events related to the photos in my Flickr set.

I am intrigued by the Savannah Bloggers meetup and love the Thursday Threesome. Both are great ideas and I look forward to coming back!
