Seems Like Every Senior In The IT Department Contacted Me Today.
July 30, 2007

Let see. I saw 4 of the guys and gal that are starting Senior Project this fall. I got a forward from one half of Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum and saw the other one on campus today. And the one on campus was friendly to me! He's softened over the 3 years since we first took classes together. I guess he realized I'm not just any old idiot, but someone that's works hard for the degree.

Seems tomorrow is the day that all the Spring graduates are to have their Application for Graduation turned in and paid for. The ones I saw today are scrambling to get it done. I'm glad I got my done in March. And those that had to get it done this month also have to/had to pay $52.00 for it. I got mine in for a bargain of $49.00. I just hope they get my name right on my degree. I don't need my name misspelled on it. I'm going for the whole name on it. And I plan on getting the $200.00 frame for it. I have worked hard for this and I want to show it off with pride.

I also got the website for the school's ACM chapter up. I'm having issues with connecting to our MySQL server, but other than that, it's up. Tomorrow, we have a meeting for ACM to get ready for our welcome back cookout and first meeting of the semester. My job is to report on the status of the website.

I only stalled in my car twice today. I know why I stalled going from reverse to forward 1st gear. I didn't apply enough gas. My second stall out puzzled me when it happened. Again, it wasn't enough gas applied to the engine. However, I could have sworn I did. I'm getting better.

In fact, I am a lot different, more sure of myself, and more capable of things than I was 3 years ago when I returned to school full time. It's all for the better.
