Julio!

The announcement came during today's Atlanta Braves game that the Braves have signed Julio Franco to a contract for the rest of the season. He will be in uniform tomorrow night. Shame I won't be home tomorrow to see Julio's homecoming.

Many Braves fan were sad to see him go to the Mets last year, but they understood why he went. When the Mets released him this year, Braves fans and columnists were speculating and wishing Julio would sign with the Braves. Now, he's back.

Now, what number is he going to wear? Pete Orr, though in the minors according to the Braves' site, has the number 4.

I hope Julio plays in September when I go see the Braves.
