Chad's:

What American accent do you have? (Best version so far)

Midland

("Midland" is not necessarily the same thing as "Midwest") The default, lowest-common-denominator American accent that newscasters try to imitate. Since it's a neutral accent, just because you have a Midland accent doesn't mean you're from the Midland.

The funny thing is I have lived in Georgia for 21½ of my 28 years. It must be the military brat factor.

Greetings from Sweden.

In England, the "Midlands" are places like Birmingham, Nottingham, Leicester, etc.

Their accent is much maligned, but I find it funny.

There, you've learned something else today.

This quiz was very accurate for me. My result was "Northeastern." And that's where I have lived all of my life.
