I just have some much going on in my life. I need a break.
Yesterday was busy. I spent most of the day on campus. I had a meeting with the lady from the church that I'm doing my Senior Project site on. After that, I hung out in the ACM lounge. I had a good time. A few of us in there chipped in and got a pizza for lunch. At one point, Chris came in and remarked that if I married someone with the last name of Love, my last name would be Latta-Love. We got into a discussion of what names I shouldn't marry into.
Got the Masters on over here in High Def. Actually ,my dad does. It's the only golf I ever seen him watch. Looks like they are struggling this year. I miss Augusta. I spent most of the 1980s living in Augusta. I didn't have Spring Break as a child. I did get a week off from school, but we called it Masters Week.
After my time at school, I went to the Savannah Sand Gnats opening day game. We played the Asheville Tourists. The Gnats lost 7-4, but it was a good game. I got in for free. Some guy had 2 extra tickets. He gave me one. I also won a free sub from Subway. A certain player is deemed to be the strikeout man of the night. Everytime he strikes out, 10 free coupons are given out. They guy struck out 3 times, so 30 coupons were given away to random people. After the game, a great fireworks display went off. I think the game was sold out. Many people just couldn't find a seat. I ended up sitting with my neighbor. She's got a season ticket. And her husband is the PA for the team. She didn't know I was a baseball fan. She realized how big of a fan I was when I yelled they should send the Tourists' catcher back to the Instructional League.
Today was a busy day, too. the first half of my day was spent on campus working on the IIR project I'm a team member of. I did some website work. I also took photos of a couple of the guys and explained to the (That ball! It should have gone into the hole!) guys about Tech Fest and the poster presentation. One of the newer guys was trying to tell me there would be no Internet access and that we should take a projector. He knows this from attending the first two. Well, I attended last year's event. I remember you were lucky to have any space. Taking a projector is just stupid. And it was I that signed up for the presentation. I remember it asking if I needed access. Plus, I went to another TCCi event this year and we had Internet access. They'll work on it. I just think I was peeved over the projector idea. CS majors. ![]()
The rest of my time on campus was spent working on my Senior Project report that's due on Wednesday. I got quite a bit done, so that's a monkey off my back. This weekend will be spent working on my Ethics paper.
