"'Cause You're a God / and I am Not"
April 3, 2007

How did my day go? Let's see:

  • Worked out for 30 minutes at the school gym

  • Worked on my group project that must be presented tomorrow

  • Ran out and got lunch for one of my group members while he worked

  • Joked around with other IT students in the ACM lounge

  • Made a fool of out of myself in front a great guy
Yeap, that's a good summary.

I started my moring going to school early and worked out at the gym. It's the first time I've been able to get to the new gym at school. I spent my workout time on a stationary bike riding the equivilent of 4.25 miles on it. I took my time on it. I have my iPod to entertain me.

Most of my day was spent working on the group project and goofing off. Charles, one of my group partners, works in the CS department. He couldn't leave campus for lunch, so he asked me to get some for him. I got myself lunch as well. At the time, I was going some clean up on our project. After I finished that work, I played a card game on my computer and turned on iTunes.

A few minutes later, Bobby and Renee came in the lounge. Sean and Wes, other students I know in the School of Computing, were in the lounge with me. We started talking about not wanting to go to class, Pink, Alanis Morissette, Ryan Renolds, and toliet seat ettiquette. We talk about anything, since we've all know each over for so long. We all had a great laugh watching the Alanis Morissette "My Humps" video. If you haven't seen or heard it, it's funny. I don't think Wes got it. The original song is dumb as it is. Alanis takes it and makes it into a ballad. As a result, she makes it look even dumber than the original. It's genius!

Later, when it time was project work, I ran into Charles. It was while we did that that the embarassment parts comes in. This guy, I recently realized I like (and have been trying to fight the feeling), walks by us. He gets pulled into our conversation. I have also e-mailed him personally about another thing. The embarassing thing was asking him was he going to the banquet! *Banging My Head Against The Wall* I didn't ask him as a date per se. Just wanted to know if he was going. He's not, since he's so busy, which will really suck if he gets an award that night, which I think he will. That's just my personal opinion, however. Thankfully, since Charles was there, it may have come across to know who all is going. The 3 of us have worked on other things together. At least this interesting guy is going to try help me with hints on grad school. We had a conversation about the GRE today.

And yeah, I haven't been trying to fight these crushy feelings. Now is not the time for them. I'm so close to getting out of school. I don't need the sad parts of such feelings back into my life. Joey, another guy in my group project, needed a ride home from school. I muttered under my breath about Interesting Guy not going to banquet. Joey cons me into confessing who it was I was talking about. *Blushing* Joey didn't mock me, thank goodness. He told me to go for the guy.

I'll shut up now and give you the Alanis video:
