Scholarship Helps Local High-Tech Students Now, I'm not a recipient of this scholarship. It's only about $1000.00. I get a better financial package from my CSEMS scholarship. However, the guy in the article is a fellow ACM member and classmate of mine. We're currently working on an Ethics project together. I thought about applying for the scholarship, but I decided against it. Maybe if I pursue a Master's in CS at Armstrong. Again, that's an if. I don't know what I'd be doing for a Master's, if I get one.
I did get asked by another IT classmate of mine, that has been in my classes for the past 2 years, if I was thinking of getting a Master's. He's wanting to get one. He figures for him, Kennesaw State would be best for him. I told him I'm still not sure what I want my Master's in.
Earlier in the day, I was talking to yet another IT classmate. This one is behind me in the program. We were talking about CSEMS when we started talking about classmates that did have the scholarship. Did was the correct word. The person in question doesn't have it anymore. Oh, the conversation was interesting. It just reaffirmed some beliefs I've had for the past year and a half. We just shared our grief over how we're students that care about our grades and how this person just didn't seem to care.
I can't believe how much I have to do soon. 1 10-page paper. 2 5-page paper. 2 2-page papers. 2 or 3 award ceremonies. 1 Tech Fest with a presentation. And a partridge in a pear tree. Actually, it's planning for my trip to Tacoma. Tell me it all pays off. Summer better be a blast.
That's it for now.
