Playing Apples to Apples

I have been quite busy the past few days. Thursday night was spent working on repairing my laptop with my father. It still won't charge a battery, but it's easier to use the A/C cord now. No jury-rigging the cord to get the computer to recognize it.

Friday was spent with my Wesley Foundation family having dinner at Melissa's house. Dinner was nice. I have found out that I enjoy fried zucchini and squash. After dinner, we played Apples to Apples. In addition to the regulars of Lindsey, the 3 Chrises, Callum, and Ashlee, two other students joined us for the dinner portion of the night. The only regular missing was Jessie. It was a fun night. We had 2 digital cameras for the night. I have another camera I got for about $100 at Wal-Mart to carry on me whenever I go off. After my car accident, I've been needing a smaller camera for such events. I think we all had fun with the camera. Melissa's Chris shot a picture of his snout. Ashlee took pictures with the small camera. Callum and Lindsey also took shots with my good camera. There were a few more shots of me from this night. Melissa also called on me to go out to the school and bring school Chris and Ashlee to dinner. So I played chauffeur for the night. My dad hugged me and told me I was a good girl for that.

Saturday afternoon was spent at Bonaventure taking some photos. I experimented with taking some black and white shots. I can't remember what else I did between coming home from that and watching Saturday Night Live last night. Peyton Manning was the host. It was an okay episode. Some skits worked and others didn't. I thought the ESPN and the NLF volunteering skits were the best.

Today was really busy. I woke up to help my dad find my brother in Atlanta. We didn't go up there, but still had to find him. We did it via talking to my brother and Google maps. The kid has no sense of directions. After that, I help my dad with installing our new living room floor. When I wasn't working on that, I was working on school work. I worked on my Ethics project and my Senior Project. The Ethics Project work was done at school with my group members. We figured what we didn't get done today, we'd finish tomorrow after our ACM meeting. The 4 of us do participate in ACM. We also discussed what needs to be done for ACM, like getting more members active. Seems like I'm going to be more involved in the fall. I told Charles that I'd see about replacing Aric next semester, since Aric will be graduating.

Okay,this is typed out now, so I'm going to bed. I could use the sleep.
