The Savannah Crud
February 28, 2007

I didn't go to school today. I feel like . I've got the Savannah Crud. It came on yesterday as I took a much needed nap. I thought I could get through it until last night after dinner. I felt like death warmed over after I ate. I slept most of the day away today, and once I woke up after Nicki screamed at me to show me her psycial science project with two drinking cups, I got up for a while. The Crud is not fun. It's a short illness. You can't really treat it with anything other than rest. It's a sore throat, headaches, and some nasal trouble. I still have it, but it should be better by tomorrow. I didn't want to skip school, but I really needed the sleep today.

Yesterday, I did go to school. I think I did well on my theater test. As long as I get 540 points in that class, I don't care how I do on the tests. I think my partner and I did well on our performance. The professor told us that now we had to get a different partner, which sucks. My partner, Omar, is perfect for acting class. Omar was a high school classmate of my brother's. We've been able to respond to each other's moves as we do our little parts. We've only done 2, but they have been great and have gotten laughs from the class. We not only say our lines, we perform them as well. I hope my new partner is just a good as Omar, which I think he will be. He's one of the other few that actually acts as we perform in class.

Before school, I got the new Target exclusive CD, New Music from an Old Friend. It has the new Richard Marx song "Your Goodbye" on it. Not only that, but there is an updated version of "Hold on to the Nights" on it as well. I'm not used to the new HOTTN yet. I know the 20-year-old version by heart; it's hard to adjust to Richard signing it differently. While we were at Target, Matthew got the Daughtry album. He never thought he's get a CD from a person that didn't win American Idol, but he likes the type of new music that is the Daughtry single.

I smell dinner cooking, whihc I'm sure will do me some good. Later!
