"The Boys Are Back" to Florida and Arizona
February 15, 2007

Yesterday was the day that pitchers and catchers reported for spring training. Yes, spring traning. That mean baseball is coming back. I've missed it.

Some players had switched teams. Marcus Giles is now a Padre. Barry Zito (pictured *Yum!* ) is now a Giant. Mark DeRosa is a Cub. I'm still a Atlanta Braves fan. Some teams have switched minor league affliations. My Savannah Sand Gnats now associates with the Mets. Opening day is April 5th for the Gnats. I think I'll attend that game. I'll get out of Graphics Design, some how. The next weekend, I'm going to see the Braves.

In other news, my first 2 boxes of flooring are in. My dad and I have decided to get new flooring for the living room. We'll do it ourselves. I bought the first 2 boxes. Tomorrow, I have to buy another box. I might buy another one, if money allows. After we buy enough boxes, we're going to get the floor done.

This week, school-wise, has been hell. I had a 10-page+ report due yesterday. I also had a presentation in Ethics yesterday. Tuesday, I had to present a monologue from Hamlet. I chose Laertes's speech to Ophelia to tell her to ditch Hamlet. I was nervous and I didn't know the monlogue too well, so I threw in a bit of acting and staging to cover my hide. Today, I have a project to turn in for Graphics Design. It's not complete. I was just having trouble with this one thing with it. I'm not going to stree about getting it done. I was honoest in my report and said I learned from this project that VB.net is not my strong point. Some people get it, others don't.

Oh, and a new Richard Marx song comes out on the 27th at Target stores. It's on an album titled New Music From an Old Friend. Richard is performing a song titled "Your Goodbye." From the sample I heard, it's more in tune with a ballad. Also on this album will be Carole King, Kenny Loggins, and Brian Wilson. I will have to update the Richard Marx Discography as soon as I can.

I just found your blog, probably gonna keep checking it out. Would like to know your thoughts on Mike Gonzalez. I am Pirates fan and was quite happy to get LaRoche for him.

Ngewo, as long as he's doesn't act like Reitsma and Kolb did in the uniform, he'll be fine. As for LaRoche, make sure he stays on his medication. The Braves could have had a .500 season last year had he been paying attention earlier in the season. We lost a painful game against the Nats because of his lack of attention. It was ugly.
