I found a few minutes to post, while delaying my reading of Hamlet. ![]()
Today's Wesley lunch was a summary of this weekend's theme. Melissa narrowed it down to share with the students that didn't attend the forum. She brought up a question of how to save a drowning person. She was talking in general; we all got specific with our ways to save a drowning person. Some answers included just letting a person you don't like just float away. We knew it was to be serious, but we all just got goofy about it. At two points in the conversation, Ramacles, our nickname for our member Patrick, laughed so hard, he was gasping for air. I like to think we had fun.
Those of that that went told the others of what we did this weekend. In addition to discussions about our weekend, we started signing up for the spring trip. We'll be going to see the Atlanta Braves play the Marlins on Friday night, as well as visiting the King Center and hanging out with the Georgia Tech Wesley group at their place. And, we'll be having dinner again Friday. We're having a blast. This is the type of friendship that I craved growing up.
