Throbbing Tongue

Matthew's 18th Birthday

I don't know how I did it this weekend, but I bit my tongue. It wasn't a small bite. I took out a big chunk. Let's just say it hurts. And do I feel stupid!

I spent most of my day at school. I worked on a paper that's due next Wednesday. It's a 5-10 page paper, single spaced, for Computer Ethics. The interesting article I'm to analyze is The New Vulnerability: Data Security and Personal Information. I got about a page, typed, written today. I guess I will do more this weekend. I'm going to have to write a lot about this topic.

I also spent a few minutes working on my Senior Project. I also had classes today. I had Theater and Graphics Design. I am really liking Dreamweaver. I will need a copy of it. Theater was an ok class. I only have it once this week. On Thursday, I've got a meeting for my Senior Project. As a result, I'm going to work on my Graphics Design work while I'm out there. That way, I can minimize my time on campus. That should give me more time to work on my Ethics paper.

As for family matters, my dad rearranged the living room. He wanted to be able to enjoy his big TV from his recliner. The set up we've had since we've gotten this furniture didn't allow it. So, yesterday, he changed the layout. As a result of this switch, he found some things in the living room. He placed some of these things on the love seat. As I sat on the love seat tonight to watch TV, I found a package of pictures. They were from about Matthew's 18th birthday in 2003. This picture is one. In this photo, it's my parents, Beth, a tiny little Scooter, and an ugly me in the background. Yes, I wasn't always a bombshell people believe me to be! *Laughing* My hair is super-long in the photo. Looking back, I don't like my hair that long anymore. I prefer it just about an inch over shoulder length. It's still long, but short enough to be manageable. I need another trim. But for the pictures, it was great tofind them. The whole family was together that night. Also, the pictures show babies Scooter, Graysie, and Meroko. They were so tiny!

Okay, off to pout about my throbbing tongue.
