My Little Needy Gray Cat.
January 9, 2007

When I got home from school today, Graysie got out the back door. *Frown* After about 30 minutes letting her run and searching for her, in the dark, she ran to the door and went into the house. It's her way of getting attention. At night, it's not safe for her to be out. She's a void in the dark with her coloring. A black cat can be seen in the dark. Graysie can't. We've stepped on her a few times at night because we can't see her. After the escapade outside, she spent an hour with me, just wanting to be held and loved. I always figured if something happened to my mother, she would be mine. I try to give her the love she wants and got from my mother.

I also spoke to my cousin on the phone. She called me by accident, trying to reach my father. It's understandable. My cell phone number and my father's number are close in range. Only the last 2 digits vary. Well, we both have a 9, but they are not in the same place. And he has an 8 in his number, whereas I have a 3 in my number. Other than that, our numbers are the same. We just caught up on things. She reminded me I need to write an e-mail to another family member. I will, after Senior Project tomorrow.

School was fine today. I went to school early to do some reading. That did me some good. *Laughing* I got my reading for Ethics done. As I went to start my Theater reading, Renee came into the lounge. We ended up talking and I told her about my scholarship. All this time she attended, she had no clue about it. So, as I was getting her information on it, we walked by my advisor's office and spoke to him for a while. Included in our discussion was the scholarship and the Un-conference ‘07, being sponsored by SavannahNow and The Creative Coast. He knew that I was planning on attending it, because my name is on the list of attendees. I have to put on a good front for the sake of the school. *Smile* I'm mainly going to the event since it's related to my hobby and my major. It's a personal thing, my going, but I won't be surprised if others at school will want to know more as a result.

So, after most of my early afternoon with Renee, I went to my Theater class. I don't have to know my Oedipus Rex monologue until the 23rd. That makes me feel better. I wouldn't have learned it in two days. I'm no longer 15, trying to memorize If in 2 days. After that class, I went to the packed Graphics Design class. Now that class is a shining example of the IT field. Of 27 or so students, 3 of are female. 3. I think of my IT classes, this is the one with the least females. 4 of the females I've been in classes with graduated last semester. I know there are a few more in the major, but not at my level. There are also only 3 females in my Ethics class. I don't know how many will be in Senior Project, besides Renee and myself. I told my dad the male:female ratio. He hopes that it helps me get a job for those trying to honor Equal Opportunity requirements. It's a shame that I'll have to rely on my sex to get far.

Another day in my life. *Laughing*
