Today, I went to the shop that has my car, to get a few things out. I finally saw it in person. The damage to my car is horrible. I had trouble opening the driver's side door to get into it. It's probably going to be totaled.
I've spoken to the insurance companies, both mine and the other driver's. All I know for certain, at the moment, is I hurt like hell. I'm going to the doctor's office tomorrow for after-emergency care.
This accident is consuming my thoughts at the moment. However, I'm just not able to blog much more about it. I don't know how long this will go. I wish you could see the pictures of my front end. Maybe one day.
At least Christmas is soon, and once I feel better, I can go back to doing things, like my photo hobby, and other stuff. Saturday, I have plans to attend a party. It's for a family friend, on a farm. It sounds like fun and a great opportunity for photos. It will be something to get my mind off this accident. This party has been planned for a while. Looks like my dad will have to take me.
While I was leaving the shop that has my car, to come home, I paid more attention to the drivers out there. I swore I saw one guy floss his teeth as he was going 40 down the road. Yes, floss his teeth. Another woman decided to perform a U-turn in the same road. That would been fine and dandy, except Montgomery Crossroad is a 5 lane road: 2 lanes in each direction, with a center turning lane. It's just dangerous and stupid to perform a U-turn on that type of road. Now I understand why my mother was such a defensive driver.

Shawn, I have become one of those nervous drivers. I have almost gotten to phobia phase! Seriously, I hate to leave the house if I am driving. I have 3 kids with me at all times, and people on the road just do not pay attention! My sister is one of those people..I love her but one of these days she is going to hurt herself or somebody. She is always putting her makeup on and pulling the rollers out of her hair on her way to work every morning. Peole just don't have any concern about other people on the road. It is very scary! I am SO glad you and Nickle were not hurt too bad. I hope you get to feeling better soon. Take some anti-inflamitory meds and try to rest as much as possible. Take care. Love you so much.
