Almost. I'm so brain fried, it's not funny. It will be all over come the 12th at 3:30PM
Before I left school today, I heard on the news that Monday, the 27th is becoming the new Friday the 13th. I can believe it. On my way to school, I almost hit a telephone pole.
Thankfully, God and my mother were with me, and I swerved just before impact. And once I got to school, I had to do part of an assignment twice, since when I rebooted a school computer, it erased everything!
At least I remembered what I did and could fix it up in an hour what had taken me 2 hours to do the first time. Yeah, bad day.
In film class, we discussed last week's movie, Raise the Red Lantern. It was a good film. What I took from it is that women can be so vicious when competing for a man's affection. Each wife showed a different side of the competitive woman. Some don't bother. Some hide their wickedness under kindness. Some have to fight for affection. Others are strong and do what they want. Even those these were Chinese women, the same can be applied to Western culture. The movie can also be seen as an allegory to the Chinese government. I enjoyed the movie. Now to get off my ass and read this book for my paper due next week. Tomorrow, it will be read.
Thankfully, my morning class was cancelled, so I get a few more minutes at home. I still have my later classes.
Part one of my Client/Server project is due today. I'll have to get with my group and tidy it up. Thankfully, the class genius, which isn't me, is in my group. I think we'd be lost without him.

I loved "Raise The Red Lantern"! I'm really not a foreign film kind of girl either, but that one really struck a chord in me. I can remember the first time I saw it... I must have been about 10 years old, and I flipped it on because it was on the very same weekend "Big Bird Goes To China" was on and I was feeling in a Chineese mood. lol!!!! I could never shake the image of the maid keeling over in the snow. It really is a beautifully made movie.
