Flubbing A Quiz…Again.
August 31, 2006

For today's Calc quiz, it was essentially the same as one I took last year. I remember the part that clobbered me on this quiz last year. I made sure I got that part right. However, I got a part I got right last time wrong this time. *Banging My Head Against The Wall*

During the break between classes today, I hung out in the IT lounge with other IT students, like Daniel, Mary, and Renee. The other day, I sent the girls a link to Charles The Technician. It's a blog that just started this month. I found it via Blog Explosion. It's right down the IT tech's sense of humor. Mary didn't get the link, so Renee and I were describing it to her. We loaded it up and all of us in the lounge had a good laugh at some of the stories. It got us to talk about our IT experiences. Call it IT bonding.

I'm installing VisualStudio.NET, AGAIN! The discs I got last week were wonky. One disc copied twice. So, I didn't get the second disc at all. Today, I went back into 129 and made Adam fix it. He wasn't on the clock, but he told me yesterday he'd do it. As he was burning the discs, he was playing World of Warcraft, or World of Warcrack as it's called in the house. I told him that all three of my siblings play it. I don't know if he thought Nicki was coming to school. He was bummed at the thought of leaving Armstrong when my sisters start Armstrong.

That's the thing about this family. It seems like someone in this town knows at least one of us. I'm the surprise. Most people know that Nicki, Matthew, and Beth are related. It's when they hear my talk about my siblings or discover my last name is it that they find out I'm related to them. However, there's Anthony. He's an ex-classmate/co-worker of mine. I met him before he met Nicki. He found out that Nicki was my sister, and not the other way around. But usually, it shocks people when they find out I'm their oldest sister.

Okay, this Visual Studio is installing correctly. Now, I can do my Client/Server work at home, if needed. *Smile*
