It's the Mac Tonight ad!
I was 8 when this ad came out. Look at the packaging on the food from that time. I miss being a kid. ![]()
I remember when we made our trips to Nashville when I was about 8-10, my family would start our trips at night, stop in a hotel between Atlanta and Chattanooga, and the continue the next morning to Nashville. On those trips, I wanted to stop at McDonald's. Another fun thing about those trips would be listening to ABC on the radio. In Augusta, the ABC station aired on channel 6. In broadcasting, channel 6's sound is also a FM frequency in the USA. Because of that, when we would travel in Augusta's area, and there was something we wanted to watch, like Full House, we would listen to it.
In other news, well, I made an error with my financial aid. I did get $1,400.00 this semester. I got the other $700.00 today.
Rather had paid extra and get this check then still be short funds. I got myself a month of TotalFark as a self-reward for making it through the summer and pretty much making As. Okay, so I don't have an A yet in history, but I should. ![]()

I remember that commercial! I remember there was a promo for McDonald's in the 80's, where a record with the big mac song came with your Sunday paper, and if you listened to it and it said you were a winner or whatever, you won some huge prize. Well, we had a record player (a Panasonic turn table/ 8 track!) and that Sunday I tore open the paper to play it. Needless to say, we didn't win
Congrats on the TotalFark. Promise not to become an eletist a-hole like some TFers are. Hey, some of us just don't have the cash to blow on TF
Don't worry. I won't be a TF elitist. I'm only going to have it for a month.
