Well, I can just say I have Ethics completed! Today was the last day of class. My group presented its presentation on Abstinence and Safe Sex. We got a 90 out of 100. I'm not sure if any of the deductions was of my fault. I tried to keep my segment KISS Our deductions were for going over the time limit and not looking at the audience. I tried to keep looking at the others and not the slide show. In IT, I'm aware that I have trouble looking at people without tremble in my voice or body. It the have a public speaking class in the 3000 level here on campus, I might take that as an elective.
My group didn't have a chance for discussion after the presentation. To make up for that, we passed out some pamphlets and female condoms. The class did not squeam as much as I thought the would at the slides of STDs gone bad. They mainly laughed. I kept talking during that part of the presentation to a minimum. I think the slides that got the most reactions were the ones of gonorrhea in the eye and genital Warts on a penis. The professor enjoyed the fact I showed those slides, set to "Something to Lose" by Richard Marx. The song and the slides go together.
However, after all that's said and done, I'm finished with Ethics. I'm certain I have an A in that class. In fact, I have just a few 10th of a points over a 97. ![]()
Between classes, I made a quick deposit and hung out in the Honors computer lab. My buddy from ITEC 1300, Angela, came in. I talked to her and told her about my Christmas from hell. After she left, I spoke with another Honors student about the wonders of H.V. Jenkins. Seems the girl hated the Old Hag as well. She also believes the history department at the school killed my 10th & 12th grade history teacher. Seems when she went, the building had mold. I'm not surprised. I think the Old Hag's room had it, too.
Tonight, I also got back the results of Friday's History exam. It was 96.
Now, to just force myself to read my book tomorrow and Wednesday. I'm about 70 pages into the book now. I can get it done. I'm not too worried about writing the paper now. One of my classmates thought I was a history major. No!
Anything else? Well, not really. Oh, as you see, I did dress up for the presentation. I also got some cute shoes at Wal-Mart. I got them to go with my black dress, but they are cute to wear without dressing up.
