I'm debating on if I should see the new Superman movie. The real turn off for me at the moment is it's 2½ hours long. The thought of being in a theater seat that long does not sound pleasant. I guess if one of my siblings want to go, I'll go. If not, I'll wait until it's on DVD. That way, being on the couch, I'll feel much more comfortable. ![]()
I guess you can say Superman is my favorite superhero. Now, I don't watch Smallville, and I didn't really care for the other Superman shows during my youth. In fact, most people probably wouldn't take me a Superman girl. I've never had the urge to wear a Superman shirt.
However, Superman is a small part of me. My mother said when I was a young, young girl, maybe about 2-3, Superman was my first crush. She would tease me each time Christopher Reeve appeared on the TV screen as Superman in the movies. Floating around in this house somewhere is a Superman pillow case. It's mine. At that age, it was my favorite pillow case.
I think now at my age, I'm Lois Lane, in a way. I'm not a reporter. I work with computers. However, I'm independent. I like to do things on my own. I don't need a Clark Kent to help me. Yet, I'll turn to mush when I see who I think is my Superman. It's silly, isn't it?
