It was his ability to be quick on the uptake. Most times, I could say something and he would get what I said. If he didn't, he usually got a concept after I discussed it with him. I still don't understand the urinal question, however. Why am I mentioning this? Because I watch people. When I finally settle down, I want a person quick on the uptake. I don't want a mate that I have to explain certain concepts to 3 or 4 times. It came to mind last night as I had to explain, again, why a certain web project was not working to another IT student. I like to think I breakdown complex items to simple explainations.

Today was a fine day. I worked just over 2½ hours on the IT project today. I brought the stuff home I need to complete, PowerPoint wise, so I can do it from home tomorrow, instead of going out to campus. Hey, gas is costly! If I can do it from home, I might as well. I'd like to sleep in tomorrow, too. I need to enjoy the summer, as well.

Class was fine, too. I think my professor has marked me as trivia person. Monday, I remembered Terri Schiavo's name. Today, I knew the cases we were discussing dealt with Mickey Mantle and Dr. Cecil Jacobson. She was shocked I knew the names. I explained in the case of Mantle, that I'm a baseball fan that remembers his liver transplant. I think she was more impressed with the Jacobson name. My answer to that one was that I have a Trivial Pursuit game about 1992. He was one of the answers to a question. I've just a trivia buff. I guess after a while, I get tired of having to answer "How do you know that?"

Well, I just got home from school. I think I'm going to spend time with my father before the Atlanta Braves game. Plus, I have some clothes to fold. I think I'll fold them during the game.
