Today is the release of the Cars soundtrack. Sheryl Crow and John Mayer each have songs on it. I don't want the whole soundtrack. I just want their songs. The good thing was I could purchase Sheryl's song. The bad thing is that if I want John's song, I have to purchase the whole CD. This is true for WalMart audio purchases, too. I don't want to buy the whole album. Being forced to buy the whole album for a track is the ugly part of the music industry for me, the consumer. So, I'm waiting for the soundtrack to be cheap on Amazon before I get the John song.

As for "Real Gone," Sheryl's track. It's very catchy and upbeat. I don't know who wrote it. Personally, I would consider it as a companion song to "Steve McQueen."
