6 web discussions, 6 mini-reports, 1 group project, and 1 5 page paper on a ethics issue in a movie! That's the summary of my Women's Health class. I really wouldn't take this class if it was an elective for me. I don't think it's going to be bad, however. It only meets 14 times in the summer. We don't even have any tests in the class. I'm not too worried on the 5 page paper in the movie. I have the choice of the following movies:
- A Time To Kill
- And The Band Played On
- Bad News Bears (1976 or 2005)
- Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)
- Chicago (2003)
- Erin Brockovich
- Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
- First Wives Club
- The General’s Daughter
- Ghost
- The Great Gatsby
- How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days
- Lorenzo’s Oil
- Losing Isaiah
- Million Dollar Baby
- Mrs. Evers’ Boys
- Ocean’s 11 or Ocean’s 12
- The Pelican Brief
- The Perfect Score
- Pretty in Pink
- Rosemary’s Baby
- Sahara
- Silkwood
- Steel Magnolias
- The Stepford Wives
- Soul Man
- Summer School
- Titanic
- Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
I got about 3 hours of work in today. I went in before class for an hour and another 2 hours after class. One of my co-working Roberts was in the office when I returned. We had a small discussion about the project. He wasn't sure about the uploading to the web on the project. I had to show him and explain where it was. He's got a part about robots, so I discussed what I know about robots to him. This was when I wasn't working on finishing up a PowerPoint presentation on using Google search and Yahoo!'s portal and directory. I hope to have my first module finished this week. After I finish the PowerPoints, I have to create a web page and an testing exercise.
Okay, now I feel old! Pardon the Interruption just wish Mark "Marky Mark" Walberg a happy 35th birthday. I remember when he was Donnie's kid brother just breaking into the music world. ![]()
I ate something I haven't had in over 6 months. I had Chik-Fil-A today. I had my personal reasons for not eating there. Long story I won't get into here. Today, it dawned on me I have every right to eat there. So, on my way home from school, I stopped at the Chik-Fil-A closest to school and picked up a box of nuggets. I think the 6 months of not having any made them that much more enjoyable to eat. ![]()
Once I got home, I had to help my father with his satellite dish. The cute part was watching the cats and PupPup, who thinks she's a cat, watching us work outside. Cozy, C.C. and Scooter looked like a brothers all getting into the same mess. Cozy's the boss; Scooter's the baby; and poor C.C. is the middle child. They're such dolls.
Well, that's about it for today. My next class doesn't start until July 5th.

If you wanna go with ethics issues go with First Wives Club! Plenty of stuff in there from cheating hubbies to ex-spouses revenge...
