Wednesday is the day I'm departing for my trip. I was to get a confirmation packet for the event in Michigan. No packet as of yet. I have asked everyone in my family if they have seen it. Nope. it hasn't been seen by anyone. I guess I don't have. I hope it comes in the mail Monday. It's just I hate having to get ready for a trip and not have the information I need, like flight itineraries. I'm not too worried about it. It will all work out in the end.

Earlier this evening, I watched the tail end of Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow with my father. I first saw that movie in the theater with Mike. Seems like ages ago. Such an innocent time, too. Anyway, back to the movie. As we were watching it, there is a part where Joe uses Morse code. I wish I knew Morse code. I wish I could understand the old techonologies like telegraphs and ham radio. Computers are nice and fun, but there will be days that the only ways for communicatons are the old technologies. I try to learn, but I don't have the attention span for it.
