The last time I worked with my RSS/Atom feeds was back on the day my mother died. Since then, I haven't paid too much attention to them. Last night, I did. I was unaware about Bloglines being bought by Ask.com. I had Ask.com blocked from my site because it was eating too much bandwidth when it would index my site. I don't mean a few pages here or there at a time. I mean my whole site at once.
Because of the bandwidth it would eat, I blocked it. Well, between the time my mother died and last night, Bloglines started using an Ask.com IP address. So, for anyone that used my feed on Bloglines and then found it blocked, I apologize. I hope you understand the situtation. I didn't mena to block you! ![]()
I know I have a few people downloading my site via the news feeds. So, if you're a feed reader, why don't you cruise on over to my site and leave a comment?
Also, if you have any feedback, let me know. An example is if you are not getting any graphics to pull up. I can work on that problem.
Today, I spent my afternoon developing the Powerpoint presentation I must give in class tonight. I mainly assisted another classmate on the work. I think he did a nice job on the presentation. As part of the assignment, we must be business dressed. So, I am, sort of. I have a business blouse and pants, but sneakers on at the moment. I'll switch into the heals later.
I also brought my makeup to school, so I can apply that the closer I get to class.
Before the meeting, there was the Wesley cookout. I attended and spoke to a few people. Melissa had me go into University Hall and invite staff in it to come out and get some lunch. Guess what? Some staff members did!
We had hamburgers and hot dogs, chips, cookies, and plenty of water. I think it went over nicely. While there, I paid my money for my Michigan trip. All I have left to do for that trip is pack and go in a few weeks.
Nothing else much from me on the school front. After today, I have an exam tomorrow, an exam Wednesday, and an exam next Tuesday. I won't have classes again until the 1st of June. Speaking of which, I got my schedule for the rest of the year, as it stands now, up on my school page.
