I wanted to cry in S&D tonight. Group projects stress me out. We have one group member that just fell off the face of the planet. One group member was MIA for a few days. A third member got into the class without taking the prerequisite yet, so half the stuff he doesn't understand. I covered his behind for his first milestone. He wasn't in class tonight, when we were discussing his latest milestone.
The other two group members are fine. The other chick in the class may not show up half the time, but she's one of the brainiest in the class and I understand she's got other issues. I didn't trust her last semester in our group project, because I had never worked with her and we never saw her, but based on last semester, I know I can trust her this time. She does get the work done. The final member of my group does his work, too. He also shows up to class.
Tonight, only 3 of us were there. As the professor starts discussing that today's lecture dealt with milestone #9, I started laughing. I couldn't help it. It was either laugh or cry in my panic mode. Hardly anyone was in the class tonight, except for Group #3, two members of Group #4, one member of Group #1, and the three from my group. The members of Group #3 that know me named me an honorary member of their group, seeing the mess I've gone through with my group. I spoke to the professor after class about the situation. In the end, he told me to do all my stuff, do what I can of the others, and mark it in the project notes and Gantt chart. He said he'll take care of the grades in the end.
Yes, I felt better about it afterwards.
Before class, Renee and some of the IT guys were in the IT lounge. 2 of the guys are in Computer Ethics this semester. They were talking about their term papers. The subject they were talking about was Digital Rights Management related topics. It was cool to be able to join in the conversation about Sony's rootkits. We were laughing at how stupid the whole thing was. I didn't feel like an idiot around them. Most of the guys in the IT department aren't intimidated by me. Shame most of them aren't guys I'd not be interested in.

I'm sure the prof will take into account all the work that you did. Profs aren't oblivious to the fact that not everyone is coming to class. If I were grading, I'd put a lot more emphasis on individual participation rather than what the group accomplished as a whole. If even one person did nothing, it wouldn't be fair to bring the rest of the group down.
