My mother said when I was a kid, the family would call me Tara Tosset-Minor. Farah Fawcett was big around that time. My hair, both natural style and color, was very similar to Farah's hair. The remark popped in my head as I was getting my hair done. As you see, this is a phone picture of my new hair. I darkened it to a light brown/dark blonde. I was sick of the look that I call "the skunk look." It's all one color at the moment.
While I was at the salon, I ran into my ex-co-worker, Judy. Actually, I heard her in the chair 2 chairs down from me. I said hello to her and we caught up for a few minutes. I told her about the ΦKΦ initiation that's coming up. Oh my! I'm going to have to get a dress for that. I told her she should come. I told her I expected the Chrises to be there, too.
The hairdresser asked me the dreaded question: "Do you have a boyfriend?" I answered it honestly. When I answer that question honestly, it's like people can't believe I'm single. At least most of the people I meet, when they hear the answer, tell me it's probably for the best. By the best, I mean I'm not with an idiot that abuses me or takes me for granted. They keep telling me to hang in there, it's bound to happen.
Before I went to the salon, I stopped by Kroger to get some cookies. I was craving Kroger's cookies. When I was younger, Kroger had a cookie club. If you were a member, and you had to be a child, you'd get a free cookie of your choice. I usually had a chocolate chip cookie. I remember getting the free cookie everytime we shopped at Grandmother's Kroger in Nashville. In fact, the last time I shopped at that Kroger in Nashville was in 1999, with my mother. As we were in the checkout, my mother started talking to the clerk. The clerk remembered my mother bring her two little girls in when I was a young child. She couldn't believe how much I grew!
After the salon, I went into Sears and bought a cheap earring and necklace set. It's faux blue topaz with a butterfly pendant. I thought it was nice. So did the clerk. ![]()
Well, that's my day.

I like the color! I finally quit coloring mine. When I was really sick, my hair was falling out. I have not colored it, because it has finally grew back in. I would hate to put chemicals on it and it fall out again! I also was a member of the Cookie Club at Kroger! I had a yellow card. I do not remember what it said, but I do remember it was yellow. I ALWAYS got a chocolate chip cookie too! We really do have a lot in common don't we? LOL! Talk to you soon!
