Kirby Puckett, 44, dies day after suffering stroke. I was just starting to appreciate baseball when he entered the Hall of Fame. And I can remember homeroom the morning after the Atlanta Braves lost the 1991 World Series to the Minnesota Twins. Boy was my homeroom teacher upset about that! However, this news about Puckett is said to read. He was only 44. I don't know how it is to lose a dad, but I know how it is to lose a parent when the parent is young.
May God bring peace to his family.
The poster I created in my last post, I have set to download. I figured it wouldn't be a bad thing to share it. I placed a copy of it into the scrapbook/journal I made in Dahlonega. I also placed a photo of my mother into the book. Along with her picture, I placed some daisy stickers on her page. She loves daisy.
I got a few complements today from my friends. Leslie said my hair looked nice in a ponytail. Speaking of my hair, I'm planning on getting it fixed this week. I don't have Economics on Thursday morning. I might as well use that time to get my hair done. Also, Renee said I'm too nice to not have a boyfriend.
Well, I'm also too smart to settle.
At this moment, I just want to get out of school. I also want my siblings to grow up. Why can't they do some things without me having to guide them? I'm just worn out from the feeling of having to be the mother now. I know, it's not going to last forever. Today's just a bad day in regards to "being the mother."
Well, I'm off the rest for the rest of the night.
