A Few Minutes Ago…
February 2, 2006

I got the dreaded "I thought you were married." *Banging My Head Against The Wall* Is that tattooed on my head? It's got to be the ring my parents gave me for my mother's last Christmas. I wear it on my left hand because it's not in my way. If I wore it on my right hand, I'd do some things worse than I do now, like handwriting. *Laughing* One day, I'll be married. Hopefully, it will be someone that appreciates me. *Laughing*

Earlier today, I was having a conversation with my friend, Heather. One of the things I told her in the week since I saw her was that I realized I have a lot of power. I have a lot more than I thought I had. I have the power to go anywhere after I'm out of school. I have nothing to tie me down. My opportunities right now are limitless. Essentially, I am free!

I figured after this semester, I'll go to Nashville. The people I have shared the news with have all sound excited and encouraging about it. I've got a place to stay. I've got people to see. The prospect of such a trip is brightening my horizon.

When I get home tonight, hopefully our C-Band dish will be up and ready to watch. I have missed that dish. It has shown me what a small world we really live in. I used to be able to watch my favorite soap when I came home from school, thanks to the CBC. The CBC also introduced me to a few other things that regular American TV never did. Nicki loved the dish because she got to see some episodes of Sailor Moon not broadcasted in the US. She never minded the fact these episodes were in Spanish.*Laughing*

And finally: General Beauregard Lee has predicted an early spring for Georgia. *Smile*

I don't know if I'll fully emerge from shell, but I do need some changes. I need some fun.
