I am upset I will never get to hear my mother sing and play this song on the piano. It's one of the few songs I grew up listening to in her voice. I was so proud and happy when the piece was chosen for 6^th grade band. However, half the band didn't even know the song, nor liked it, so we didn't get to play it. However, I was one of the few that knew the song and knew it well, all because of my mother.

I forgot to mention in my last entry that I put a down payment on locket today. I plan on putting a lock of her hair in it.
