Happy New Year!
January 1, 2006

I hope everyone had a better introduction to the New Year than I did. Around 10:30, I cried and ran to my dad. He wasn't in the mood to ring in the New Year, but he was willing to comfort me as I cried. We did ring in the New Year by watching Dick Clark. My father had forgotten he had a stroke and couldn't believe his voice when he heard it. However, he realized by listening, Dick had a stroke. Dick was a little early in ringing the New Year, but we didn't really mind at all.

I thought I would post my friend's, holiday letter. I hope she doesn't mind. I think it's generic enough that she won't mind. I nearly cried when I opened it yesterday. It's a very inspiring letter, at least for me.

Thursday, school starts again for me. I'm not sure how I'm going to take it. I don't want to return to school, but I know I must for my sake.

Hey, I found your site through blogexplosion and just wanted to tell you your layout is gorgeous!

i don't mind that you posted it. i'm glad it was somewhat inspirational for you.

i'd mind very much that there are some unscrupulous people out there who would try to pass it off as their own and because it's not copyrighted (who copyrights a christmas letter?), they'd get away with it. if you wouldn't mind, could you please take it off? i'm real careful about posting anything that's my own work-- be it excerpts, letters, poems, etc-- on the Net for that reason. thanks for understanding.
