And a Happy Hanukkah, too.

My family is pretty much going to skip Christmas. Without my mother this year, we're just not in the mood. To add insult to injury to our horrible December, my mother's beloved kitty, Misty, is ill. She came home from the vet today, however, we found out today she has cancer. She also has a cold, probably due to grief. From what I understand, she just recently developed cancer. She's 11-years-old. Other than having bad colds, she's a good kitty that shouldn't be put down if there's a chance to save her. My father, brother, and I decided on surgery. We just aren't ready to lose her so soon after my mother. My father will be babying her and isolated her from the other cats. She's had a crappy 2005. In July, she lost her sister, Lucky. Now to lose my mother, well, no wonder the cat might have developed cancer!

In other news, I was able to fix my links database. Actually, the error was in how the fread() function of the PHP script behind the database was displaying a blank template. After doing some research on the issue, I fixed the cause. I think between actual programming and debugging errors, I think I'm better at the debugging process.

On the school front, I got a financial aid award letter today. I did get to keep my scholarship for the spring. My GPA for the fall, at the moment, is a 3.00. Overall, it's a 3.64. I'm still in the honors program, at least! I'm expecting my GPA to drop a bit after finalizing Calculus.
