"Like Dr. Zhivago / All My Love I'll Be Sending"
November 28, 2005

On my way home from school today, my CD player turned on "The Hardest Thing" by 98°. For the past few months, I haven't listened to the sone since it makes me cry each time I hear it. And believe me, it's done that for a while. It was the reason I purchased 98° And Rising Well, I cried today as I heard it. Just something about the Dr. Zhivago line pulls at my heart strings. Maybe one day I'll actually read Dr. Zhivago.

Thanksgiving went over well at my house. My father flew into town. I think the whole family was relieved he didn't drive from New York. He went back this afternoon. We had a big turkey dinner. Much football was watched. one night, my parents and I went to dinner at Outback. Another night, the parents, my brother, and I had pizza together.

We also watched The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. I was just a younger toddler when Empire came out, so I don't remember it, except when it came on HBO in the '80s. My father would have it on in the background when he worked on his model tanks. However, I remember my parents taking us to see Jedi when it came out. The best I remember is the scene with Leia and Luke are on Imperial speeder bikes. Smething about the scene stuck out in my 4-year-old mind.

As I was watching the movies, I noticed I'm sort of Luke. How? Well, I like to believe there is something good in everyone. I guess you can say I'm like Padmé, too. I'm thinking this helped lead me to crying today. I like to think the best of others, but some people don't think highly of me. I try to shrug it off, but at times, it gets to me. Let's just say I had a not-so-thrilling experience this weekend.

Oh, has anyone watched How I Met Your Mother? I am loving this show. I'm watching it now. I better get back to it. *Laughing*
