November 10, 2005

A year ago today, my grandfather died.

A year ago my childhood died with him. A year ago I changed and I can't revert back to my life before then.

In a year since, I have been on one bumpy ride. I have had wonderful days. I have had some pretty dark days. At the moment, I feel like I'll be facing some more dark days until the end of the year. Posting is probably going to be sporadic the rest of the year. Besides the dark days I know I'll face, I'll be busy with school.

These dark days are some that only I can handle. No one is going to be there for me. And for those that will be there for me, they will be support, but I know in the end, I am the only one that can get through these days. And I will get through these days.

In other news, yesterday, I got my hair bleached. At the moment, I look like a grown version of the kids in Village of the Damned. It's just temporary. My scalp couldn't handle all the processing my hair needs. My hair was was a mix of blonde, red, and brown. Next week, I plan on going back to the salon and getting lowlights added to my hair to make it a more natural color. Everyone that has seen it so far has found it to be nice. One person even said I had a look of a Scandinavian.

Well, my major group members for my IT project is here, so I'm off to work on that.

That's a photo on Flickr. It's not a public photo. I set it to friends and family only. If you want to see it and are someone I know I trust, you can see it. If you can't access it, let me know.
